Riseria Gazzani Carnaroli Rice 1kg
Carnaroli is the best, highest quality superfine rice from Piedmont, and is the preferred rice type in most regions of Italy. Most often referred to as the 'king of rices' (although Antonio Carluccio calls it 'the Ferrari of rices'), it is a favourite with chefs as it is more resistant to overcooking than Arborio. The medium grain is well-rounded and extremely absorbent, with a complex starch structure that produces a very luxurious, thick and creamy risotto without the need of extra dairy products.
